Good feeling
Physically it wasn’t a good feeling but mentally it definitely was. I am still so sore I can barely bend over to tie my shoes from my workout with Mike on Saturday. I do leg workouts on machines, but goodness, never underestimate the power of squats and lunges. Ouch. I guess I was not as in shape as I thought I was! But anyways, I’ve been walking around like a Nana for the past few days and the last thing I would want to do is put myself through more pain. And you know what? I usually wouldn’t. I’d just go home and sit on the couch and my excuse would be “I’m too sore”. But not last night. I picked up Mike and had him kick my ass some more at the gym. I thought I was going to die when I started running from the pain but it eventually went away and I even did more squats and lunges. And you know what? I will tonight too!
I just have to learn how to push through and stop making excuses.
Dress fitting in 4 days. Ahhh.
