2012

2012 IS GOING TO BE MY YEAR! Just like many of you I am sure. This year is the year of good health. Physically and mentally.

Last year wasn’t my best year, really rounded out the year in a not so good place with my health resulting in two surgeries, etc. I found out that I had a very large fibroid growing in my uterus which took two attempts to remove. While physically it was very painful since about last March, finally getting it all taken care of in December. It was a long year mentally and physically trying to figure out what was wrong, lots of google searching until I finally went to a doctor. I try to act like it didn’t bother me, but all the questions I had running through my head and concerns, etc really broke me down and went into a bad place mentally. I didn’t really admit it to anyone in my life, but it was really all I could think about since I found out what was wrong.

But enough about the past! The stupid “alien” (as my mom and I called it) is gone and hopefully for good. I am hoping it doesn’t put any more stress on my body so I can finally move on and be healthy.

So as I was saying about 2012, it’s going to be my year! Our wedding is just around the corner (a little under 4 months) and I will look amazing, I know it. I rejoined Weight Watchers online and plan on using that as my plan. I always do best when following a plan, not so much on my own.

Other goals for the year are to pay off my credit cards and save for a house, hopefully buy a house. We’ll see what we get from the wedding and see if it’s even possible, but it would be great since our lease is up in September and we plan on escaping the city and moving to the ‘burbs. I would also need to look for a new job if we move out of the city because the commute would be just awful and I would probably be a miserable person to be around, which wouldn’t be very fair to Mike. But I can start looking once we find out where we’ll be living, just a thought to keep in the back of my head.
